I have taught four different undergraduate courses at UNC. My classes are intensive, participatory, demanding, and well-loved. I expect significantly more of my students (in terms of reading, writing, and discussion) than most instructors; my students have responded with good work and excellent evaluations. My classes are primarily based around structured discussions, but also incorporate activity and lecture components. Here is some information on the courses I have taught.
